Salt Harvesting
Saw some Fenicotteros (Flamingos) on the bus ride in but did not get a picture. Learned that flamingos are not born pink they are born with grey/white feathers and develop the pink color based on what they eat brine shrimp and algae.
Mozia Island
The dogs were waiting for us after we got off the boat they went on the tour of the island with us. The island had olives, grapes, and multiple archaeological dig sites. Featured above is some museum items Youth of Motya, terra-cotta mask, and vases.
Another nice afternoon outdoor lunch with sandwiches, and other specialties.
Sette Sapori -Trapani
Stopped at a restaurant recommended by the front desk at the hotel and our tour guide. All of the food we ordered was from the fresh sheet - smoked swordfish and tuna, Busiante, pasta, with pesto alla trapanese (red pesto with almonds and tomatoes), and pistachio cream gnocchi.
